The Federation of St. Teath & St. Breward

Through to the Cornwall Games Finals.

On Friday 20th April the touch rugby league team went the cluster group qualifiers at Sir James Smith's and played some excellent rugby. They managed to win all three games and worked very well as a team. This meant that they qualified for the area finals.

So, on Tuesday 24th April the team travelled to Newquay, where they again played some great rugby. Their defence was very tight, only conceding two tries and they played some great attacking rugby, scoring "the try of the tournament" according to one of the organisers, with some swift passing that put the try scorer in at the corner.

Well done to all the players and a big thank you to the parents who came and supported.

Netball Team Success

The school netball team have been training very hard following their qualification for the North Cornwall Netball Finals after finishing as runners up in the cluster tournament. They travelled to Budehaven Community School to compete again the qualifying teams from Bude, Camelford and Launceston. The team worked extremely hard and never gave up. They scored in every match and came a fantastic third. Well done everyone!

Sport Relief Week 2018

St Breward School participated in different sporting activities throughout the week in order to raise the profile of sport relief. We also completed a sponsored hike to raise money for sport relief and the school.

Miss Goodman and the Bokwa Club held a Bokwa demonstration, Turtles and Seahorses Class brought their bikes and scooters to school to cycle and scoot as many miles as possible. Altogether we managed to cycle and scoot 12.7 miles.

The final day of sports relief week consisted of Dolphins Class and Seahorses Class completing a sponsored hike up to Alex Tor. The Turtles Class also went on a hiking adventure around the local area.

Well done everyone!!
